About sclawl
What it compares
sclawl compares a product’s public promises with a provider’s public terms. You enter two websites and choose the intended use. The supported topics are retention and deletion, AI training, commercial use and output rights.
How it works
The crawler reads up to six public HTML pages per website. It prioritizes pages likely to contain relevant clauses. A model compares retrieved excerpts and a second model pass reviews the proposed findings. Source quotations are checked against the retrieved text before display.
Reports pair source quotations with an AI note. Missing evidence remains unverified. Unknown plans or material exceptions lead to a concrete question. A report cannot establish overall compatibility or compliance.
Coverage
Private agreements, account settings and backend behavior are outside the comparison. Page scripts are not executed and PDF contents are not read. Discovery of a security or pricing page does not mean a security or pricing audit was performed.
